The interior is quaint and has a rustic and almost coastal sort of vibe. The staff is friendly and relatively quick for a sit down restaurant. I love their asparagus and leek Mac and Cheese, fish stick sandwich, and their salads are so healthy!
They seem to use good quality ingredients but I only wish that their menu had a wider range of selections since it mainly includes a basic array of burgers and sandwiches. Payal M. I had the asparagus and leek macaroni and cheese and it was heavenly. Exactly what I needed on a gloomy, chilly, and rainy London day. It was just out of the oven, bubbling hot, and so so yummy. Overall, would go back again for a reliable, yummy meal.
Love this place. Plenty of seating, quite a few booths. Some of the smaller tables for 2 pax are just a bit tight to thoroughly enjoy yourself. Can get really busy so go early, go late or book a table.
Elisabeth C. My friend and I decided that we should at least once go for a full English breakfast. As this place is on the way to our university, we elected it to be the place for just that. I love breakfasts, especially when they involve tea and eggs. I am however absolutely not accustomed to eating as much as a full English breakfast in the early morning. However… my fears were unfounded. The breakfast itself was nice. I ordered tea to go with it and I love how generous the amount of tea is that you receive.
I am a big fan of tea and to get four full mugs is the way to make extremely happy. Shannon A. Comfortable food, well prepared with fresh ingredients. Attentive wait staff. Morgan G. For brunch, I had the eggs florentine and split the bread basket with my friend. I left full and satisfied, and I would certainly venture back here if I ever find myself back in Holborn. Shaun P. Maybe I am on my own here but I just do NOT get this restaurant… Upon entering this chain all have a rustic and welcoming feel to them, one where you would expect of a lobster place in an old coastal town on the eastern seaboard of America!
Hmmm okay maybe I over egged that a little, but only a little. So what do they serve… What dont they serve… What kind of food do they specialise in? What is their USP? Oh sorry Unique Selling Point! Nickie C. The wait staff were friendly, and my order was taken promptly and my food came quickly — almost too quickly, actually! The table next to me of 2 women ordered at the same time as me, and their food took 20 minutes longer.
And then began the wait. My plate had been cleared quickly, and I had declined the dessert menu. I was right by the bar and finally the bartender got someone to get my bill. Hopefully next time the service can match it! Laurent D. Natalie R. There's also a soft seating bar area at the front, looking on to Kingsway. The restaurant is just a stroll away from Covent Garden and the area's many theatres and is popular for after-work drinks and light pre-theatre suppers, as well as throughout the day, from breakfast and beyond.
The aim was to make a place that was colourful and exuberant, with dishes that were really tasty and also made you smile, that put every day and unusual seasonal ingredients together and gave everyone lots of ideas to take home with them. The team at Bill's baked, cooked and served deliciously different food, hung skeins of raffia from the ceiling, stacked towers of produce for people to buy and hired lively, enthusiastic staff to look after their customers. They wanted Bill's to be somewhere that really celebrated food and was welcoming to everyone, a place that felt like the next best thing to home.
Breakfast at Bills is a great way to start your day; from a humble bacon or sausage sandwich to a bells-and-whistles super classic great British breakfast. Weekends are a different story, time to kick back and turn breakfast into brunch, complete with newspapers, freshly squeezed orange juice and plenty of tea or coffee.
With seating across two floors, a small outdoor area and a read more. Remember Me. New User? Click here Sign in. Existing User? Click here Sign Up.
